A Big Thank You!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our very first Local Author Book Fair! We are grateful for our amazing book-loving community for showing up and our wonderful local authors for bringing their stories to share.

Congratulations!

We want to congratulate local author H. R. Cole for her novel, Daughter of the Void, winning yet another award! It has been an absolute pleasure to watch this romance fantasy book gaining ever more fans and awards ever since its debut.

Children’s Section Under Construction

If you’ve had the chance to visit recently, you may have noticed that there is a bit of work happening in our children’s books section. Under construction is our Children’s Book Nook! In true Spellbound fashion, we are creating a whimsical piece of a fairytale forest right here in the bookstore. Keep an eye on our social media for an announcement of its completion! In the meantime, the rest of the children’s section is still open for shopping.

Cafe News

We will be introducing a new bagel flavor at the start of February! Stop in and try the Tuscan Three Cheese Bagel.

Four cookies sit on a piece of parchment paper. The cookies have three lobes of color, each section's natural flavor lending the cookies their unique appearance. Pink is strawberry, green is matcha, and the usual cookie colored section is vanilla.

Thom has been hard at work creating the most delightful cookies! These tri-colored, gluten-free Neapolitan cookies get their colors from the natural flavors of strawberry, matcha, and vanilla. These have quickly become a favorite among our regulars. Be sure to try one the next time you stop in!

Featured Book

A book rests on green and brown grass poking up through patches of white snow. The orange-pink cover of "Wintering, The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times" by Katherine May contrasts brightly with its mid-winter resting place.

Wintering by Katherine May

This is a personal read of one woman’s journey through a difficult chapter of her life. Katherine realistically reframes the everyday into wonders. She embraces the difficulty of the transitions with a calm, slow pace and learns to care for herself in order to care for others. This is a personal journey but the setting is also a lovely character, with the sea and a trip to Iceland included. (My favorite!)
A timely read for a stormy, cold month.
